A very interesting public park. Serpent mound is the largest and finest serpent
effigy in the United States. Nearly a quarter of a mile long. The museum contains exhibits on the mound and geology of the surrounding area.
Rocky Fork State Park

Rocky Fork became a state park in 1950. Since then thousands of people have visited
this lake. You will definately enjoy yourself, either fishing for bass, bluegill,
crappie, muskellunge, and walleye, or boating which makes for excellent skiing on
this beautiful lake.

Lying at the edge of the Appalachian Plataeu. Beautiful rolling hills and streams,
this large lake has fishiong, boating, and swimming available. A very scenic area
with mountain bike trails, and bridle trails.
Fort Hill State Memorial

A nature preserve which the Hopewell Indians(100b.c.-a.d. 500) made, which is a one
and a half mile long earthwork hilltop enclosure. There is also a museum and eleven
miles of hiking trails.
Adena State Memorial

Home of Thomas Worthington (1773-1827) sixth governor of Ohio, and State Senator.
The mansion which sits on 300 acres with formal gardens, has been restored. Also a
new museum and education center has been added.
